Privacy & cookies

1. Who is responsible
The operator and data controller is Vlastimil Pejcha, Business ID (IČO) 08042705, registered in the Czech Trade Register, with registered office at Rezlerova 279/62, Petrovice, 109 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic. For privacy questions or requests, email vlasimilpejcha@gmail.com or write to this address.
2. Fractal generation and cookies
Fractals and PNG images are generated in your browser. Your drawings and colour settings are not uploaded to us. Settings are held in memory and are lost when the page is closed or reloaded; the selected fractal can appear in the page URL.
This website does not set cookies, use local storage, use visitor identifiers or advertising trackers, or embed third-party fonts, videos or social widgets. Normal browser caching of static files is used to load the site. There are no user accounts, online submissions or payments.
The page-view counter stores only one cumulative total on our server. It does not store IP addresses, visitor identifiers, individual timestamps, browsing histories or device information. Each page load with JavaScript enabled can increase this total, including reloads; it does not measure unique visitors. The total is retained for the life of the website. Hosting records described below remain separate.
3. Website delivery and server records
When you visit, the hosting infrastructure processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Server access and error records can include your IP address, request date and time, requested URL, browser information, response status and error details.
The purpose is secure, reliable website delivery, fault diagnosis and prevention of abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Network information is necessary to deliver a page; without it, the website cannot be provided to your device.
Hosting is supplied by Websupport s. r. o., Karadžičova 12, 821 08 Bratislava, Slovakia, Business ID 36 421 928. It processes hosting data on our behalf under its data-processing terms. Websupport documents a rolling 14-day availability of server-log backups. We do not maintain a separate routine log archive. Records needed for a specific security incident or legal claim may be retained until that incident or claim is resolved and any applicable legal retention period ends.

4. Email correspondence
If you email us, we process your email address, any name you provide, the message and its attachments to answer your request. Sending a message is voluntary. Our legal basis is a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; where a request concerns a legal duty, Article 6(1)(c) applies.
Ordinary correspondence is kept while the request is being handled and for up to 12 months after it is closed, to address follow-up questions. Relevant messages may be kept longer where necessary for a legal obligation or an unresolved legal claim. Messages are not used for newsletters or marketing.
The contact mailbox uses Gmail. Google Ireland Limited and Google's service infrastructure process email under the applicable Google terms and privacy policy. Email data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Google describes its use of adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses in its data-transfer information; copies of relevant safeguards can be requested through the contact route provided there. See also Google's Privacy Policy. Merely visiting this website does not load Gmail or other Google services.
5. Recipients and external links
Data may be accessed by the operator, the hosting and email providers described above and their authorised service providers where needed to supply those services. Information may also be disclosed to public authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
Links to references and other websites are ordinary links. Following one takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices.
6. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access to your personal data, correction, erasure or restriction of processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies where its statutory conditions are met; routine security logs and enquiries processed on legitimate-interest grounds do not automatically qualify.
Contact the operator using the details above. We may request information needed to verify your identity. Requests are normally answered within one month; any permitted extension and its reasons will be explained.
You may complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, at uoou.gov.cz, or to the competent supervisory authority in your place of residence, work or the alleged infringement.
We do not use your data for profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
